Starter Fertilizers
Pop-up, or seed-placed fertilizer is applied directly to the seed, or incorporated using the Strip-Till method. The result is faster growth earlier in the year which is delivered more economically than broadcasting. The traditional concept of a “starter” is that a band of fertilizer is placed beside and below the seed when you plant. With a “Pop-up”, the fertilizer is placed directly with the seed, or banded outside and beneath the seed row. This immediate exposure to fertilizer boosts the germination of the seed with doses of N, P, and K.
